Hooray are proud to be supporting a local alternative provision to assist in in the recruitment for a School Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis to run the school office.

As a School Receptionist you will:

Undertake reception duties including answering the telephone, dealing with in person enquiries and acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the school. 
Ensure all data is kept up to date, accurate and confidential within the school.
Be responsible for maintaining pupil records and attendance, preparing induction packs and liaising with other agencies and Schools to ensure accuracy.
Issue petty cash, maintain appropriate records and ensure the cash is balanced. 
Undertake any other duties as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the school office. 
To be successful as a School Receptionist you will:

Be confident in your ability to work in a challenging environment with vulnerable young people.
Describe yourself as a fast learner and a team player. 
Have experience working in an administrative role (preferably school based.)
Enjoy a rewarding opportunity to support individuals in need. 
In return, my client is offering an hourly salary of up to £13.00 per hour plus holiday. Please note, this is a temporary position working part-time (Wed-Fri).
