Location: Runcorn, Cheshire, WA7 3DL
Salary: £25,000
Term: Full-time, permanent
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 07:30 to 15:50

Material Handler Role:
This new role has been created to bridge the gap between Goods In and Goods Out team members
and Warehousing. Primarily, this role will supply production areas with the materials and packaging needed to complete production plans on time and to schedule, ensuring the right materials are picked and the correct quantities are available. Movement of goods between Warehousing, Production and Goods Out will be your sole responsibility, freeing up time for production teams to concentrate on manufacturing.
Material Handler Responsibilities:
* Using the work instructions, the material handler will gather and deliver raw materials and packaging to the specified production location.
* Carrying out constant stock checks and cycle counting.
* Returning raw materials to storage, checking the weight and stock levels of the goods to ensure the stock count is correct.
* Providing cover for sickness and holidays in Goods In and Goods Out.
* Moving released finished goods into storage in the Goods Out area and recording on our systems.
* Moving delivered raw materials and packaging to the correct storage locations upon delivery and recording on our systems.
* Stock rotation of raw materials to ensure first in, first out.
Material Handler Qualifications
* FLT (Counterbalance) qualification is essential.
* Experience working in a chemical manufacturing warehouse would be preferred but isn't essential.
Material Handler Skills and Competencies
* Computer literate
* Excellent organisational skills
* FLT (Counterbalance) qualified
* Excellent attention to detail
