Senior Radiographer (MRI) - Glasgow - State-of-the-Art Private Hospital - Up to £46,000

Are you ready to take your radiography career to the next level? Join our dynamic team at the renowned Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow, where we're dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services.

We're currently seeking a Senior Radiographer to join our Imaging department on a full-time basis, covering 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern, including weekends.

As the ideal candidate, you'll hold a degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography and be registered with the Healthcare Professionals Council (HCPC). Your background in general radiography, coupled with your familiarity with IT systems such as RIS/PACS, will be invaluable in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our Imaging Department.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Possession of a degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
Registration with the Healthcare Professionals Council (HCPC).
Background or training in general radiography.
Familiarity with IT systems such as RIS/PACS.
Understanding of the healthcare service sector and its associated systems and processes.
Awareness of the College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct/Accountability.
Knowledge of Radiation Regulations.
Proficiency in Mathematics and English, evidenced by GCSE grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Actively engage in the efficient and safe functioning of the Imaging Department, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service to patients and visitors.
Perform both general and specialized radiographic procedures within the scope of expertise, as determined in consultation with the Clinical Services Manager - Imaging / Clinical Lead, adhering to stringent technical and quality standards.
Conduct imaging examinations in accordance with departmental operational protocols and policies, employing techniques that minimize radiation exposure to both patients and staff while achieving optimal diagnostic image quality.
Demonstrate adherence to radiation protection and safety protocols, and adhere to local rules and established systems of work.
