Extrusion operative in Antrim - Engineering

Your new company
Based in Antrim, Northern Ireland, an extrusion blow moulding business producing containers for the industrial and household sectors. With sales growing and plans in place to double the size of the company over the next two years, they are now needing to add to our production setting team.
Your new role
The Machine Setter is responsible for operating moulding machinery effectively, while completing tool changes. you will be part of the Production Team, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. Undertake machine set ups and mould changes. Ensure all moulding machinery is ready for production in a timely manner, with delays communicated to the relevant personnel. Accountable for the performance of production equipment. Completing process control improvements to guarantee maximum output. Ensure product quality standards are adhered to and issues are dealt with in a prompt manner. Mentor junior members of the team. Ensuring documentation is updated to reflect any production changes.Working Days & Hours: The shift system currently in operation means you work Monday to Friday and rotate on a weekly basis.
Day Shift 8am - 4pmEvening Shift 4pm - MidnightNight Shift - Midnight - 8am
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and mechanical experience. General workshop abilities, use of hand tools and machinery. Ability to work as part of a team, or individually. Confident in troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills. Candidates with extrusion experience particularly suitable. Must be able to work shifts.
