What we need from you as an Early Years Assessor/Tutor :
You will need experience of working in Child Care setting for a minimum of 2 years
Hold a minimum of a Level 3 Child Care qualification
Have the ability to deliver functional skills English and Maths
You need to hold a clean driving licence with access to your own transport and insurance for business use
Good grasp of time management and working to deadlines
Good communication skills face to face and over the phone
A DBS check is also required
Desirable:
Experience and a qualification at Level 4/5
Hold an assessing or teaching qualification
What this role involves:
Visiting learners in their workplace across Birmingham and the Black Country , to complete teaching, observations and assessments approx caseload size 40
Preparing and delivering quality and engaging teaching sessions to individuals and groups either face to face or remotely
Updating electronic systems regarding learner visits and progress in a timely manner
Preparing learners for their End Point Assessments
Managing time and arranging learner visits which enables learners to achieve their programmes by expected dates
Completing quality progress reviews with learners and their managers
Ensuring learners achieve on time and have an excellent learning experience

Salary/hours: £23,000k - £26,000k per year. Working Monday to Thursday 8.45am 5pm and Friday 8.45am 4pm. 45 minutes lunch break each day.
