You could be progressing your career in a senior hands-on role at a technology driven trading company that invest in Sports betting markets with a flat structure where you will get your voice heard and can make a real impact on the bottom line, earning significant bonuses.
As a Senior Software Engineer you'll join an Agile development team to improve processes on financial trading desks across Equities, Futures, Commodities and Cryptocurrencies.
You'll be designing and developing various internal applications that are crucial to the trading teams' success, recent projects have included pricing US based Options, designing financial stress tests and implementing automated trading systems.
You'll be primarily using C# and SQL and as a senior member of the team, working on the most complex and demanding areas of the codebase and actively contributing to team strategy, process improvements, evaluating the technologies used and contributing to system architecture.
WFH Policy:
You'll join colleagues in St. Albans, Hertfordshire (parking available), with the flexibility to work from home three days a week.
Requirements:
You have strong C# .Net Core backend development skills
You have SQL query writing and optimisation skills
You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Algorithms
You have a good knowledge of mathematics and are highly numerate
You enjoy collaborating, learning new things and sharing knowledge
You have experience with quantitative finance or a strong interest and understanding
