The Job:
Deliver exceptional technical advice on building services engineering within the historic built environment, influencing national grants, statutory consents, and Heritage at Risk projects.
Lead as the intelligent client for building services on varied projects, driving the integration of low and zero carbon technologies.
Author technical notes and web-based guidance, and share your knowledge through engaging presentations and webinars.
Explore new income generation avenues while fostering evidence-based technical policy and standards.
Spearhead research to identify innovative engineering solutions, setting academic and professional benchmarks in building services engineering.
Elevate Historic England's status as a centre of knowledge, incorporating cutting-edge approaches in building services engineering.

The Person:
Qualified Building Services Engineer with a wealth of experience in historical settings (Chartership required)
Adept at problem-solving within heritage constraints
Proven ability in research, policy formation, and the promotion of best practices in heritage conservation.
Committed to compliance management, including health & safety, equality & diversity, and financial stewardship.
Represent the company on external committees and in public forums, advocating for the significance of building services engineering in historic environments.
