Maintenance Engineer in Witham - CV-Library

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Witham on a permanent basis.

Main purpose of the role will be working with an established engineering team and will have a high level of autonomy and technical challenges. The successful candidate will be provided a training program to develop their technical skills responsible for ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed to an extremely high standard.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Provide front line maintenance support to the shift operations team.

* Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency.

* Dismantle and re-assemble all production equipment.

* Electrical, instrumentation and mechanical maintenance

* Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

* Track record of electrical fault finding & ideally knowledge of PLC’s

* Worked on processing and manufacturing machinery.

* Self-motivated and able to work in a team.

* Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement mentality.

* Ideally hold a recognised Time served Apprenticeship, supported by Engineering qualifications such as NVQ3/HNC or City and Guilds.

* Previous repair serviced and maintenance of all plant machinery and other equipment.

Please note that there will be a requirement to participate in a call out rata for emergency breakdowns and this will be paid.

Working hours are Monday – Friday 07:00 – 16:30 or 08:00 – 17:30

In return our client offers a competitive salary from £35,000 per annum.
