Brake Press - Trainee in Roffey - CV-Library

Ideally, we are looking for a forklift driver who is looking to expand their knowledge, or an individual who is able to take annitiaty and learn on the job to join our client in Horsham as a Trainee Brake Press Operator role. You would join the team on a temp to perm basis. The role will involve learning how to operate the brake press machines in a safe manner following drawings to create the required final product as per client specifications. This role may also include using the FLT to move stock and sheet metal around the warehouse.

the ideal candidate will have an in-date forklift counterbalance licence but candidates without this licence will also be considered. Other duties may include general warehousing, goods-in/out and you will also be trained to assist the machine operatives when required.

This role is Monday to Thursday working 6pm to 6am paying between £32k-£37k per annum.

Please note that you will need to have an understanding of manual handling policies as this role does include some heavy lifting. Also, a valid in-date counterbalance licence is advantageous.
