Job Description

Adecco are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Ayrshire client. This is a fantastic opportunity working a day shift and 4 day week. You will be working a Monday to Thursday.

Your role will be to support the production teams by carrying out planned, corrective and reactive electrical maintenance tasks.

You will have many responsibilities, some will include:

* Responsible for reporting any unsafe acts or unsafe conditions observed in accordance with responsibilities under the Health and Safety at work Act

* Carry out electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance to production equipment and mechanical infrastructure

* Fault diagnosis and root cause analysis

* Utilisation of the site Computerised Maintenance Management System system for all maintenance works

* Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and is to the required standard of workmanship

* Work in accordance with site procedures, engineering standards and relevant legislation

To be considered you should have the following:

* Minimum HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering and served a recognised electrical apprenticeship

* Ability to diagnose faults on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment

* Good working knowledge of maintenance practice, MTBF, condition monitoring etc.

* Experience in an electrical maintenance role

* Ability to work to tight timescales

* Must have personal commitment to Safety, Quality and Environmental standard

* Strong bias for action to identify potential problems and co-ordinate their resolution before they become an issue

* The ability to build and develop effective relationships and use these to improve performance

* Strong IT, communication and team working skills

* Excellent communication skills.
