Through captivating and purposeful instruction, you'll craft inventive lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards and educational goals, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience for all.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher in Blackburn/Burnley to join our team and contribute to our mission of promoting academic excellence and empowering students who will be offering support to students in KS3 and KS4. The daily pay rate for this role varies from £155 to £230, contingent upon your experience, qualifications, and teaching level.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
Strong knowledge of the curriculum
Punctual and reliable
Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
Set homework and mark promptly
Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
Respond to questioning

Preferred skills:

Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
Strong classroom management
Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience

Personal attributes:

You will have a genuine passion for teaching
Experience up to key stage 3/4
QTS/PGCE equivalent
Be flexible and committedPlease note that this role is unable to offer any Sponsorship at this time.
