Planning Manager - Housing Developer
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Car Allowance
Yorkshire 

We are currently supporting an established house building client in recruiting a Planning Manager to join their team in Yorkshire. We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role for a house builder who can bring their knowledge and leadership skills to the role.

What you’ll be doing - 

Managing matters associated with planning (Town and Country Planning Act) required
Meet the Company’s development objectives and maximise development potential and returns.
Ensure that the company complies with all relevant planning legislation.
Develop and maintain a schedule for the discharge of planning conditions.
Work in close collaboration with the Land Manager, Architectural Manager and the Engineering Manager, ensuring that a co-ordinated and sustainable approach
What we’re looking for - 

Qualification from the Chartered membership of The Royal Town Planning Institute or The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Demonstrable experience in town and urban planning.
Extensive experience of the planning process from preparation and submission to consent and appeal.
Experienced in planning laws and related legislation.
Knowledge of the differing and varying planning requirements, policies and preferences of Local Authorities.
Salary -

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience
Plus car allowance
You’ll be working out of the Yorkshire site however regular travel to developments will be required.
