Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Access & Drainage Building Products

Area to be covered: Midlands / Central (will be able to go after project National)

Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 + 20% bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager –Civil Building Products will involve:

* Field sales role promoting predominantly a manufactured range of access & drainage solutions such as: access cover, gully gratings, steel covers, drainage

* Covering nationally with a preference with you being based Centrally

* All of your time will be spent selling to builder merchants, civils merchants, main contractors, sub-contractors, groundworkers and civil engineers

* Responsible for an area with a turnover of circa £2m

* Majority of your time will be spent generating new business

* Working closely with and reporting to MD

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Civil Building Products with:

* Must have worked for or sold to builders merchants

* Would consider an internal sales / branch professional working for merchant such as Jewson Civils, Keylite and Burdens

* Would consider someone from a tier 1 contractor focusing on infrastructure projects

* Open in terms of what products sold

* Ideally sold some civils or heavyside building products such as; building drainage, manhole covers, access covers, gratings, linear drainage channel, underground pipes and fittings, security chambers/ covers etc.

* Autonomous in nature

* Honest/ humility

* Structured sales process/ territory management skills
