Electrical Infrastructure Project Engineer in Sunderland - Expleo Technology

Expleo Engineering have an exciting opportunity in the North East for an infrastructure engineer to work in the field or renewable energy and battery storage.
We are seeking an Engineering Project Engineer to join our Estates and Environment - Construction team based at a major OEM's Manufacturing Plant. You will join at an exciting time as the plant embarks on its Zero carbon journey, a £1 billion flagship Electric Vehicle (EV) Hub creating a world-first, sustainable, EV manufacturing ecosystem. Bringing together electric vehicles, renewable energy and battery production, setting a blueprint for the future of the automotive industry.
Electrical technical and Project management support for infrastructure projects including large scale renewable energy generation, storage, and distribution.
Development of project proposals, with detailed technical, financial, and strategic consideration. Working within a cross functional team of commercial, legal, and technical expertise.
Project delivery, demonstrating control of project deliverable obligations by timely and accurate reporting.
Interfacing with internal purchasing, finance and legal teams and external authorities, to validate proposals.
Management of contractors, ensuring safety compliance, cost/time co-ordination and compliance of work.
Qualified to degree level in applicable field, or with substantial industry experience.
