Maintenance Lead Technician in London - Expleo Group

Expleo Engineering are seeking a Maintenance Lead Technician to motivate and lead a team through effective communication and identifying and controlling clear roles and responsibilities. The successful individual will be tasked to co-ordinate and enable team activities in accordance with laid down schedule requirements and all company standards/processes. This will be a permanent role based at our clients site in South Wales.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Lead Technician include:
Ensuring that the team can function at all times in terms of appropriately skilled labour.
Enabling team members sufficient time to complete work within their agreed area of responsibility.
Controlling and reducing all forms of waste using Kaizen, 5S, PPS and FTPM principles.
Monitoring, controlling and improving the quality level within the team.
Promoting the use of techniques for controlling and improving processes.
Background, skills and experience required for the Maintenance Lead Technician role:
The ability to lead and develop a team of technicians.
Experience of coaching and mentoring with the ability to identify team strengths and weaknesses.
Ability to use diagnostic skills to determine faults and lead a team in the rectification of such faults.
Flexibility to work shift patterns, overtime, weekends to achieve production targets.
