Material Technician- Nights

Nights (8 hour shifts) Monday to Friday OR Sunday to Thursday

At our Golborne site (5 mins from the J22 or J23 M6) based on the East Lancs Road, we employ over 270 colleagues' who produce a number of packaging solutions on a 24/7 basis for major international customers.

Main purpose of the role - To ensure the control and flow of raw materials to the production department is optimized. Works closely with other team members to mitigate any material impacts on the production plan.

We now need to strengthen our team and have the below requirement on a permanent nights basis:
To ensure the control of raw material is optimized for the department
Loading and unloading of materials for the department (use of FLT)
Ensure all areas within the job scope are maintained to high level of housekeeping
To ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with good H&S practice
Works with other departments to ensure the material flow is in accordance with the production plan

Experience Required:
Previously held a position within a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment ideally supporting movement of products and/or materials
Must hold valid FLT license (Counterbalance) and have experience within a production environment
Excellent team player and can communicate effectively
Knowledge and awareness of health and safety procedures within a busy manufacturing environment
