Key Responsibilities:
Innovate and Implement
- Spearhead the implementation of new products, processes, and enhancements to existing products within the organization.
- Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure smooth running of production trials, maintaining high standards of efficiency and quality.
Customer Focus:
- Support specific customer accounts, working alongside the Senior Process Technologist to meet key timelines for product lines.
- Ensure all necessary technical data is gathered from trial products, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and compliance.
Documentation and Coordination:
- Produce comprehensive department paperwork containing vital data and process instructions for production teams.
- Organize sample requests from trial work and manage representative product samples for pack photography.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Liaise with Engineering, Operations, and NPD departments to optimize equipment usage, streamline processes, and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with Planning and Operational Team Managers to minimize disruption during trials while maximizing information gathering.
Presentation and Evaluation:
- Present summaries of weekly trials at cross-functional team sessions, outlining proposed forward actions for continuous improvement.
- Ensure trials are delivered according to plan, meeting all product acceptability and cost-effectiveness criteria.
Requirements:
- (preferably) Bachelor's degree in Food or related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
