Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer Leicestershire
Materials handling / Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Immediate Start Available - £37,000 p/a
Shift: Rotation of Days and Nights - Flexible Patterns

Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities to ensure machinery and equipment operate at optimal levels.
Responding promptly to breakdowns and carrying out effective reactive maintenance.
Performing routine inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
Working on machines such as conveyors, conveyors and lifting tables
Duties will include, changing chains, bearings, and sprockets, working on gear boxes, aligning cams, resetting cranes,
Getting involved in all Projects including new machine installation and layout changes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
Able to mechanically maintain machinery
Has working in an automated environment
Working on a planned preventive maintenance schedule (PPM)
Experience of working on materials handling machinery such as conveyors and cranes.
Has experience of carrying out the following - changing chains, belts, bearing, sprockets, gear boxes
Electrical Maintenance Exposure
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
