Area Surveyor in Newcastle upon Tyne - CV-Library

Day to day Area surveyor - Full time permanent Position - some knowledge and understanding of HHSRS, must have NAT FED SOR experience - £39.2k

Working Monday - Friday (flexible start and finish times) to cover 8 no appts per day (morning / Avoid school times and afternoon appointment slots)

Main duties will be to attend property inspections, proactively identifies recurring and persistent repairs problems, looking for solutions to address root causes and minimize costs, working in close collaboration with colleagues and Area Teams, and external partnering contractors

Identifying, managing following up repairs and supporting the effective coordination of planned and cyclical maintenance. The area Surveyor has a key responsibility in ensuring that our customers receive a high-quality repairs service that delivers value for money and achieves high levels of customer satisfaction.

You will liaise and work with closely with stakeholders, such as contractors/developers, local authorities and consultants, with internal departments, and most importantly with prospective and current customers

The Area Surveyor works closely with other members of the Asset Team, Community Spaces Team and Neighbourhood Teams to maximise the performance of our assets while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and neighbourhood sustainability.
