Plant Maintenance Manager in Leeds ICD - CV-Library

Our client is curerntly looking to add some additional headcount and a Plant Maintenane Manager opportunity has come about.

The Role

* To ensure the Static plant at across all sites are maintained, records are kept accurately, and work is planned efficiently and recorded to a high standard.

* To ensure the plants are maintained, clean and in good working order at all times

* Active plant & baler maintenance when required

* Order all required components with collaboration with management

* Ensure plant maintenance supervisors and mechanics plant sheets are completed

* Ensure all maintenance staff are trained to the correct level

* Ensure all work completed is recorded and logged

* Compile stock lists and record attrition rates for consumable items and parts

* Maintain a PPM schedule and look to improve operation and efficiency of the plant limiting down time.

* To compile a list of suppliers and contractors ensuring they are on the approved contractor register

* Ensure work is completed to applicable standards and regulations

* Look to reduce costs on parts and repairs year on year.

General

* Ensure that all lock-off and safety procedures complied with

* Comply with company procedures and instructions,

* Report all break downs and plant damage to management in a timely manner,

* Actively participate in company health and safety improvements

* To liaise and communicate effectively with other managers to ensure work and repairs are scheduled and delays are minimised

About You

* Experience with setting up a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

* Confident with both Mechanical and Electrical

* Confident manager and can drive and motivate a team

* experience with conveyors is a big advantage
