Maintenance Technician in Great Harrowden - CV-Library

Extrastaff are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for a brand new site based in Wellingborough. This is a great opportunity for someone to progress within a busy environment.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and facilities on site.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.

* Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

* Respond promptly to maintenance requests from site personnel and address issues in a timely manner.

* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and parts used.

* Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement preventive maintenance measures.

* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a site-based environment.

* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

* Ability to diagnose and repair equipment and facilities efficiently.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Effective communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

* Certification or training in maintenance-related fields is advantageous.

* Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required.

Hours to work

7am till 5pm Monday to Friday
