Architectural Technologist in Harrietsham - CV-Library

My client a leading building company is looking for a Architectural Technologist

The role will include producing drawings such as Sketch Schemes and Site Plans and Elevations, liaising with the Land Buyer and Directors, Solicitors and Parish Councils, and coordinating with consultants. The candidate would be expected to work fully independently and manage their own workload.

* A working knowledge of planning and building regulations and the processes of such.

* An understanding of Highway, Sewage and Utility Authority processes.

* Ability to draft architectural planning & working drawings to a high-quality standard using AutoCAD Architecture 2023.

* Knowledge of civil and structural engineers and building construction types such as masonry and timber frame is essential.

* Excellent technical knowledge and ability to advise on best technical practice.

You will need to have:

Good design skills, keen to push company designs above competition.
Good organisational skills and being able to work across several projects at once.
Ability to communicate with others of all levels and being part of a team.
Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and well within a team.
Good problem-solving skills
