My client are passionate about producing the best civil and structural engineering solutions and with an extremely full order book moving forwards, they are looking to recruit a passionate and ambitious junior or trainee CAD Technician in to their close knit permanent team in Christchurch.

This role would suit a motivated and passionate person who wants to work in a supportive company who offer extensive on the job training & development alongside college courses to gain qualifications, whilst you learn how to produce structural & steelwork connection drawings.

The role

Trainee/Junior CAD Technician (Structural Engineering)
Production of - structural & steelwork drawings
Office based role with lots of internal & external training & development
Monday - Friday days based role in Christchurch
The person

Highly motivated to learn & develop in a junior CAD Technician role
A genuine interest in a long term career within Structural engineering
Excellent IT skills (previous CAD experience preferred but not essential)
Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
