Job Title: Senior Town Planner

We are working with a large, well established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy who are seeking a Senior Town Planner to join their team in their Colchester office on a hybrid working basis. The team at this office is small, but this offers the opportunity to grow and progress, rather than being lost within a large corporate consultancy.
Position Overview: The right candidate with ideally be a chartered senior town planner, with the relevant RTPI accredited degree and a minimum of 2 years experience, giving them an excellent understanding of planning policy and laws.
Responsibilities:
1.Manage planning projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
2.Prepare planning policy appraisals, Design and access statements.
3.Conduct site appraisals and complete reports.
4.Stay updated on planning policies, contributing to project success.
5.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to business growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
1.Chartered Member of the RTPI or working towards this
2.Minimum 2 years experience.
3.Capability to write appropriate planning reports and communications with internal and external parties.
4.Strong project management skills within a consultancy setting.
5.Excellent knowledge of planning policies and regulations.
