Credit Controller

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + great benefits (Bonus, Hybrid Working and Pension)

Location: Blackburn

Duration: Permanent

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller. Our client is a well-established, internationally recognised organisation based in Blackburn and are looking to welcome a new Credit Controller to the team on a permanent basis.

As a Credit controller you will be working very closely alongside the Credit Control Manager and will be exposed to a number of responsibilities and duties allowing you to further your knowledge.

Responsibilities of the Credit Controller includes:

Full control and management of the company sales ledger
Proactively recovering outstanding sales invoices as per agreed terms
Proactively reducing the debt of days to improve company cash flow
Posting cash received from clients to the ledger
Provide weekly reporting to the Group Credit Manager regarding cash collection and placement fees
Negotiate payment plans with clients to recover outstanding debts
Follow the debt chasing process through to court action
Performing other ad-hoc duties when neededSuccessful Credit Controller candidates will be:

Experienced within a similar Credit Controller role
Experience of working with different accounting systems
Good standard of education with literacy and numeracy
Clear and effective communicator at all levels in a professional manner
Willing to learn and possess a can do attitude but also be able to use your own initiative
Comfortable in working in a fast paced environment
