Workshop Technician / Onsite Machinist in Aberdeen - CV-Library

The function of the Workshop Technician is to assist the Workshop Chargehand with completion of all repairs, service and calibration of company owned and customer equipment repairs/refurbishment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service, repair, test, and calibration of all equipment.

* Painting, use of abrasive equipment and machines

* Handling and assembling of new equipment.

* Fault finding and determining proper solutions.

* Participates in process improvement activities and uses appropriate tools.

* Reporting safety observations, both negative and positive.

Qualifications:

* Qualified to BTEC or equivalent.

* Good basic educational background, with English and Maths GCSE’s or equivalent as a minimum

* Experience in a similar role
