Shift Manager in Ufton - CV-Library

We are looking for a Cross Passages Shift Manager to join the HS2 project in The West Midlands. 

Responsibilities:

Identify risk and opportunity, advising the team appropriately. 

Be conversant with all drawings, specifications and related information for the works under their control and ensure a similar understanding within the team. 

Undertake and work with the Site Engineers to ensure all setting-out and quality control procedures are performed in a timely and efficient manner, so as not to impede the construction programme.  

Recording and signing check sheets related to SCL quality and assurance identified in the ITP

Ensuring any relevant testing is undertaken and samples prepared and stored as appropriate

Preparing handover notes at end of shift and reviewing and actioning handover notes from previous shift

Skills and Qualifications:

Engineering Degree / HNC or similar in a construction discipline. 

IOSH or SMSTS desired, SSSTS minimum. 

Tunnel Safety Training Scheme (TSTS). 

Experience with SCL construction techniques.

Temporary Works desired
