Registered Manager - Residential Children's Home in Aylsham - CV-Library

Straight Forward are working with a well-established client, who are looking for a Registered Manager for a 4 bed EBD Children's residential home in Mundesley.

The most important qualities needed working with vulnerable children is the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be kind, friendly and honest. Working within the principles of person centred support, enabling development and inclusion in their everyday lives within their home and wider community.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience - 

Childcare qualification (minimum level 3, and happy to work towards a level 5)
2 years’ experience working within a similar environment and at a senior level
Working with young people who have complex needs
Experience managing a team, ensuring they are performing as expected by the company standards
 Your role may include: 

Play a key part in maintaining relationships with the child or young person, parents or other family members, social workers, school staff and other relevant professionals.
Manage the recruitment, selection and induction of staff
Oversee the financial resources compliance
Ensure the staff are delivering positive and sensitive care to the children and young people
This is a permanent position, 37 hours per week.
