Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist

The Souvenir Collection continues to be the leading specialist provider of accessories and gifting to attractions across the UK and Europe. We pride ourselves on our ability to offer custom designed, branded and quality products to suit the vision and needs of our customers. We are currently looking to recruit a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist to join our growing team and we are looking for a motivated self-starter who is passionate about what they do.

The ideal candidate will already be working in a similar role and environment. You must have good attention to detail and a methodical and organised approach to work. You will be experienced in procurement & supply chains and able to thrive under pressure with good problem-solving skills.

Role responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contact to the FE. Building relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices & terms 
Create a supply chain (preferred supplier/back up supplier) 
Stock planning and forecasting
Establish and manage a core product list (continuity lines, ensure best sellers have a healthy stock level)
Place POs with factories for stock lines, customer bespoke orders & orders being placed specifically for large customers
Ensure product testing requirements are met and that product labelling adheres to global testing/compliance/safety requirements
Manage QC/ QA issues  and resolve any problems which may arise
Manage factory audits
Approve factory PI and agree factory shipment dates for critical path
Price list management - update wholesale prices and ensure price list is up to date.
Arrange testing samples to ensure stock can be printed in house prior to order being placed
Arrange pre-production and production / shipment samples for warehouse stock lines.
Provide samples which allow the Sales Team to pre-sell
Manage excess stock and clearance lines
Key skills & Experience

Previous experience in a similar role with experience of pricing and working with overseas factories.
Good knowledge of critical path management / liaising with buyers, factories and sales is key.
First class communication skills both verbal and written.
Works well under pressure with a can-do attitude.
Strong time management skills.
Highly organised, efficient and can work to tight deadlines, within a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be pro-active, able to use initiative.
