Production and Transport Manager in Bristol - CV-Library

Our client is one of the markets leading manufacturers and suppliers of specialist fire rated glass and is looking to appoint a Production & Transport Manager for their Bristol branch. The Transport & Production Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and customer deliveries.
The role requires good organisation skills and head for figures. As Transport & Production Manager you will need to be able to work with people at all levels, meet tight deadlines and act as first point of contact for both production & transport staff and customer queries.
The right candidate will need to plan, organise and control production of a workforce of up to 20 staff, ensuring that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to an expected quality standard.
This role also includes the planning and coordination of the Branch’s transport fleet and staff in terms of distribution and delivery transport operations, including routes and schedules.
This is a full time permanent position, working hours Monday to Friday 6am - 3pm.
