Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Chesterfield

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000

An opportunity has opened for an Electronics Design Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will have background working in Electronics design so they can help the company design new prototypes as well as ensuring current products are to the best of quality.

The company are a mid-sized company looking to add someone to their Engineering team allowing people to take their ideas from innovation to the market.

What they’re looking for:

* Experience as an Electronics Design Engineer

* Experience in PCB design and Hardware design

* Knowledge of basic firmware or embedded software

* Experience of NPD would be a bonus

* Electronic testing and manufacturing knowledge

Electronics Design Engineer Duties:

* Working with the Engineering team designing new prototypes and working on existing designs to make sure they’re ready for the market

* PCB Design, schematic capture and layout

* Some basic firmware writing for products

* Helping the test and manufacture team

* Documentation writing
