Job Role: Senior Warehouse Operative 

Location: Unit C, Block B Larkfield Trading Estate, New Hythe Ln, Larkfield, Aylesford

Hours: 33 Hours Per Week

Shift Pattern: Wednesday 07:00am - 13:30pm
                       Thursday 07:00am -17:30pm
                       Friday 07:00am - 16:30pm
                       Saturday 07:00 - 15:30pm

Salary:  £22,429 Per Annum

Menzies Distribution are looking for a Senior Warehouse Operative to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers. Providing a first-class service with our team in Maidstone.

SENIOR WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE DUTIES

Reporting directly to the Senior Supervisor and Day Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing workload within the Returns department
You will be required to organise and manage a team of Scanners and Loaders to process all returns on a daily basis through the branch ensuring targets and KPI’s are met
You will ensure customer returns are processed in accordance with Company Procedures
You will ensure a safe working environment to comply with Company Policy and Health & Safety Regulations
You will undertake additional duties together with associated responsibilities as may be requested by Management
Responsible for overseeing and managing the returns department on a daily basis
Accountable for managing staff training & development, absence & return to work interviews, conduct and performance
Ensure Customer requirements are met in a timely, safe and efficient manner with the daily work loaded completed the same day
REQUIREMENTS

Experienced approach to prioritisation of daily tasks
A common-sense approach to problem-solving
Ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a pressurised environment
Comfortable working to strict deadlines
Great communication skills
