Sales Executive
Ellesmere Port
£26,500 basic salary plus un-capped commission (£36,500 OTE)
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join my client in Ellesmere Port. The position is to work within an established team in the company and use a consultative sales approach to sell different products and services to business clients. The opportunity is office based and is offered with a basic salary of £26,500 with commission (£36,500 OTE). Standard hours of work are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

While telephone sales experience is desired, we will consider those candidates who come from a contact centre background or those who have worked in other target-driven positions.

The main duties of a Sales Executive are:
Achieve sales and performance targets through outbound calling
Make initial contact with key decision makers and build a business relationship
Use a consultative sales approach to identify suitable products and services to meet customer needs
Listen and understand the client's needs to ensure a tailored solution
Make quality appointments for external field sales to attend
Effectively manage diary and sales pipeline of prospects
Produce quotes and orders when required
Carry out research actively and be up to date with the latest industry news and regulations
Accurately log all calls and keep the CRM system up to date
Self-source new leads

B2B/B2C sales or new business development experience is desirable though those interested in a career in sales will be considered provided they have telephone experience or worked in a target-driven environment

Excellent organisational skills
Strong verbal and listening skills coupled with a professional telephone manner
