Job Description

Introduction

As a Marine Engineer, you will be responsible for performing service, diagnostics, repair, overhaul, and installation work both on-site and in our workshops. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse customer base, ranging from individual boat owners to major UK boat builders, across the leisure and commercial marine sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out service, diagnostic, repair, overhaul, and installation work on marine equipment
Maintain and repair marine electrics, engine management systems, and general boat systems
Perform engine and transmission overhauls and refurbishments to the highest standards
Work independently and take responsibility for your work, ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction
Continually develop your skills through in-house and manufacturer instructor-led courses

Job Requirements

Completed a Marine Engineering Apprenticeship to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
Good knowledge of marine electrics, engine management systems, and general boat systems
Significant experience in performing engine and transmission overhauls and refurbishments
Ability to work unsupervised and deliver work to the highest standards
A commitment to continuous learning and development
NVQ or equivalent in marine engineering
