Quality Assurance Engineer in Widley - CV-Library

Our clients, based near Portsmouth have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their growing team.

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for managing our client’s internal calibration system / database and will be required to work closely with their Engineering and Process Engineering Departments on the pre-release activities for new processes released into Production. The role will also involve working closely with the QA Team and Process Owners in the maintenance of the company EN9100 Quality Management System.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Maintenance of the internal calibration schedule and implementation of best practice into the business.

• Involvement with Design and Process FMEA’s for new products and processes.

• Internal QMS Audits to support the internal audit team / programme.

• Post audit review meetings with Process Owners and follow-up review meetings.

• Assisting the Quality Team with internal and External investigations and analysis, where required.

• Updating QMS procedures and their controlled release into the business.

• Data collection and analysis to support the business on-going Continuous Improvement Activities.

• Assisting with the weekly reporting and analysis of production scrap with a cross functional teams.

• Provide coaching and advice to assist others in the resolution of problems and issues.

Qualifications / Skills Required:

• Working knowledge of EN9100 an advantage.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Metrology background / experience (desirable)

• Strong computer skills

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday - 8.00 – 16.30

Friday- 8.00 – 15.30
