Health & Safety Manager in Surrey Quays - CV-Library

Our client is a world leader in its field with a strong culture of delivering quality of service and value for money to its commercial and domestic customers. The company continues to grow through organic and acquisitions and operates throughout the UK across a diverse spectrum of customer environments.

This role will manage Health & Safety within a division of the international brand as well as other entities within the brand family ensuring Health and Safety is prominent within the business and a safe place to work in accordance with internal and external policies.

The role will work closely with key stakeholders within the business including Managing Directors and HR as well as staff on site and individual business units across a range of activities including manufacturing, distribution, logistics and lone workers in the field.

Candidates will be required to have experience of working across ideally a range of risk profiles but preferably to include manufacturing. It would be beneficial if candidates have delivered training and also have experience working with management systems such as ISO 9001.

This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who have the ability to think both strategically and manage in a hands-on fashion to provide advice and support across all aspects of the business working with and liaising with consultants as required.

Candidates should live within a commutable distance of the Guildford region although the company do operate a flexible hybrid working arrangement which will include travel as part of the role.
It would be expected that candidates should have experience managing Health & Safety in a business to encompass all functions and be expected to be a Technical Member of IOSH.
