Mechanical Design Engineer in Melbourn - CV-Library

We're seeking a passionate and hands-on Design Engineer to join the Product Management Team for our client based local to Melbourn. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that have a positive impact on many peoples lives.

This role is working between 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a half hour break each day and they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Typical duties include:

* Updating and maintaining medical device specifications and documentation to the highest standards.

* Identifying and resolving product faults and inefficiencies, collaborating with global suppliers to implement solutions.

* Hands-on testing and product development in our state-of-the-art R&D facility inclusive of prototyping, Laser cutting and fabrication.

* Work to relevant quality and regulatory requirements at all times.

Requirements:

* SolidWorks or similar CAD experience is essential.

* Hands-on experience with small tools and benchwork.

* Excellent English communication skills.

* Health and safety awareness
