Senior Transport Manager - Stanford-Le-Hope - Up to £70,000

Our Client, an established Transport Company specialising in container operations are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join their Team.

Job Type- Permanent

Working Hours- Monday- Friday 8am- 6pm

Salary- Up to £70,000

Responsibilities.

Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental and regulatory standards, and policies
You will be responsible for & have experience with managing teams & overseeing operational activity
You will be overseeing the transport department, ensuring containers are moved in the most cost effective and efficient way possible.
Will be overseeing a team of Drivers, planners and Administrators ensuring seamless service
You will ensure vehicle compliance/Maintenance is adhered to at all times.
Coordinate with Transport Planning and Fleet team to ensure smooth running of Operations
Evaluating and improving the transport performance and efficiency
Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills
Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation Requirements

Must have Manager CPC
Experience with Container Operations
Experience using VBS
Strong Knowledge of WTD
