Here at Graham & Brown an exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Separation Artist to join the team, based in Blackburn. You will join us in July 2024 on a full-time, maternity cover basis . In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £27,670 to £34,587 per annum.

As our Separation Artist, you will create technical separated commercial designs from original artworks according to briefs supplied by the product/design team. You will work as an integral part of our design studio, who collectively work across origination, separation and pre-production, delivering over 500 designs to digital and analogue production per year.
Our Separation Artist will have the following responsibilities:
Checking digital files to a very high standard to ensure they are balanced and flawless ready for production.
Separating original artwork into designs suitable for colouring across analogue and digital production.
Analysing artwork for any design amendments to a high commercial standard.
Liaising with preproduction to ensure a smooth handover.
Advising design and product team on practical and cost effective strategies.
Supporting the design studio to ensure all projects needs are met.
Advising the stylists on lead times for separation projects.
Experience and skills required by our Separation Artist:
Experience working with AVA design separation software.
Experience in Adobe software.
Experience in the design textile industry.
Excellent attention to detail.
Highly motivated team player.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Good listening and communication skills.
Creative strategic thinker.
