An excellent opportunity for an Experienced Door Access Security Engineer to join a well-established company based in Hertfordshire.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Working 40 hours per week.
Salary: £27,000 - £40,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.
Location: Field Based.
About the Company:
They provide a range of services such as CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control, Door & Gate Automation Systems to commercial clients, social landlords and private clients.
Based in Hertfordshire, they cover the greater London area as well as the home counties, providing a round the clock service to all their clients.
They also have a fabrication division which designs and builds gates, railings, staircases and almost anything from metal.
The company offer 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
About the Role:
The company have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Door Entry Engineers to join our well-established team. Their broad client base consists of companies in the social housing sector, to the private sector, providing security solutions to housing and estates across London and surrounding areas.
You will be provided with a company vehicle, all equipment (except hand tools), mobile phone and uniform. Location of work will be London and the Home Counties with their office based in Royston which you will occasionally visit.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation, Maintenance & Servicing of:
Door entry systems from 1 way up to multi-way, multi-block, multi door.
Access control systems from 1 door to multiple, remotely controlled, IP, 4G and GSM.
CCTV systems from Analogue to the latest Digital IP Technologies.
Gate Automation (if you want to learn this side of the business).
You may also be required to undertake Planned Maintenance / service visits for Door Entry, Access Control and CCTV systems where demand is high.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience within a similar role
Communication skills (written and verbal)
Customer Service skills
Good Fault / Problem solving skills
Flexible and adaptable
Good organisational skills
Experience of using test equipment
Self-motivated with the willingness to learn
Be able to think "outside the box" on some occasions.
