Senior Quantity Surveyor in London - Niyaa People Ltd

An exciting opportunity has come up to work with a national based organisation in a Senior Quantity Surveyor capacity. You will be working within the social housing planned refurbishment programme on various projects and you will be based from home/office and on-site. The role involves leading a small team of commercially focused employees to evaluate information to help understand and present the costs for the designated refurbishment projects.
The salary for the Senior Quantity Surveyor role is £60,000 - £70,000 .
Skills needed in the Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
You will have experience of working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the Construction industry
Ideal if you have an understanding of the Social Housing sector
Ideal if you possess experience of managing a small team of QS's while also managing your own projects
You will have strong commercial acumen and excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good understanding of IT and proficient office skills

Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
Support your team to value and authorise payments to sub-contractors within the region
Assist in the control of contract budgets
Assist in the preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders to demanding timescales
Managing the monthly CVR Process for your region
Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast for designated projects
Liaise with Contract Managers to establish the project specification and requirements.
