£17.00 per / hour / £43000 k OTE
43 HOURS PER WEEK PLUS OVERTIME
Our client are a well known manufacturer in the Dudley area they are going through a period of expansion and are doubling the size of their manufacturing plant
Our client is looking for someone who is fully competent in Hydraulics and Pneumatics
Job Description
To be responsible for the continuous running of all equipment and machinery within the department. By using a computerised CMMS system, you will perform scheduled, breakdown and installation tasks that are vital for the efficiency of the department. Working closely with other professions to problem solve and improve processes and areas.
Key Responsibilities
To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the maintenance supervisor
To close / update completed scheduled tasks on the site computerized maintenance system
Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated systems.
Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
To assist specialist subcontractors requirements both for PPM and reactive works
To inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with callouts/repairs as required, and requested by management
Requirements
Systems experience Hydraulics & pneumatics (understand drawings & able to diagnose/ fault find systems)
Knowledge in mechanical principles Gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, drives & belts, pumps (both hydraulic & water)
Minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role
Commitment to Quality, environment & health and safety

Be able to work well in a close team with a positive can-do attitude

Experience working with IMMs (desirable only)
