Multiskilled Operative in Woodhall Spa - CV-Library

Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are working in partnership with a great local employer who manufacturers a wide variety of timber products based near Woodhall Spa. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join an already successful team as a Mill Operative / Production Operative. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and precise production of products.

What will I be expected to do?

Operate machinery and equipment in the milling and production process.
Monitor the production line to ensure smooth operation and product quality.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our high standards.
Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines. 
 
What skills do I need?

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects when required. 

What hours will I be working?
Monday to Friday – 0700am to 1530pm.

What will I be paid?
The pay for this position is £11.44 per hour, all hours worked over 40 are paid at £17.16 per hour.
