Location: Central Derby

Salary: £30,000 -£35,000, depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday - flexible working hours, yearly bonus, company pension and life insurance

A fantastic opportunity to join a growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Central Derby, as a Payroll Supervisor, you will be managing a diverse portfolio of clients from various industries/ sectors and sizes.

The responsibilities of the Payroll Supervisor will be:

* Managing diverse range of clients from different industries / sectors and sizes

* End to end payroll procedures.

* Preparing and running weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls

* Administering all new starters and leavers and updating information

* Managing a variety of company pension schemes

* Processing all statutory documents such as P6, P45, P60, P11D, student loads, maternity / paternity leave etc.

* Generating payroll reports

* Liaising closely with clients to investigate and resolve any queries

Ideal candidate should have:

* Payroll experience in a similar position would be an advantage

* A sound knowledge of payroll legislation

* Able to manage a diverse payrolls and work to strict deadlines

* Ability in using Sage and Excel (V-looks-up/ Pivot tables) would be desirable not essential

* Strong communication skills - written and verbal
