European Assistant Management Accountant – Doncaster – £35,000 + Hybrid + Study Support

Chase & Holland are excited to be working with an innovative business in Doncaster, who are looking to add to their existing finance team with the addition of a European Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis. You will work closely with European Management Accountant to provide high quality reporting to internal stakeholders of the financial results and KPIs for the European businesses.

Private health and life insuranceEuropean Assistant Management Accountant Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preparation of the European entities month and yearend management accounts, yearend statutory reporting and annual budgeting
Drill into the adverse variances, aiming to identify cost variances and looking for cost savings
Preparation and input of month-end and periodic journals
Multi-currency intercompany reconciliations on a monthly basis
Balance sheet account reconciliations
Analysis of expense and balance sheet accounts
Cash management and associated bank reconciliations
Provide information to external and internal auditors
Assisting in the production of VAT returns and ECSL reportingRequired Skills & Experience:

Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
Able to work well as a team
At least two years’ experience in accounting environment
Preparation and entry of general ledger journals including accruals and prepayments
