Exiting new opportunity for a MEP Manager to join a well-established award winning company!

Position: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: A competitive salary of up to €100k per year

Our Client is an innovative M&E Engineering Consultancy who are seeking a Design Manager to join their Dublin office due to unprecedented growth.

Key Responsibilities:

•Manage MEP operations, focusing on maintenance and efficiency of MEP systems within data centre facilities.

•Work closely with data centre operations teams to ensure MEP systems support high reliability and uptime requirements.

•Develop and implement management strategies for the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems in new data centre builds.

•Oversee the troubleshooting and optimization of MEP systems to improve performance and reduce downtime.

•Supervise and train MEP teams, focusing on continuous improvement and skill development in data centre technologies.

•Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively, ensuring all MEP projects are completed within established parameters.

•Ensure all MEP activities comply with industry standards and safety regulations specific to data centres.

•Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and efficiency in the procurement of MEP materials and services for data centres.

Required Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline relevant to MEP systems.

•At least 5 years of management experience in MEP roles with a focus on data centre operations.

•In-depth understanding of MEP infrastructure and its critical role in data centre operations.

•Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct and motivate technical teams.

•Excellent communication and project management skills.

•Familiarity with data centre standards and best practices such as ISO, ASHRAE, and Uptime Institute guidelines.

•Proficiency in using technology tools necessary for designing, planning, and managing MEP systems in data centres.
