Senior Commercial Finance Manager in Helwith Bridge - CV-Library

Our client, a market leading group with an impressive portfolio of brands and track record for retaining talent where possible, is looking to hire an astute and credible Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join on a 6 month FTC.

Due to some impending internal moves, the role is to support the team through a busy period and requires someone with proven capabilities in commercial and business partnering functions, who has operated for some time at a Manager or Senior Manager level.

Main duties include:
* Finance business partnering Category Director and Brand Managers
* Periodic analysis of brand performance, with clear and effective communication to SLT
* Provide challenge, understanding and insight to the short term forecasting process, as well as longer-term budgeting and strategic planning processes
* Evaluate and sign-off new and existing product development costings
* Monitor Marketing spend to ensure ROI
* Supporting Category teams on margin improvement opportunities

Key skills & experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Strong prior FMCG experience
* Proven self-starter that demonstrates curiosity and continuous drive to improve
* Ability to challenge and influence at all levels, utilising strong business partnering skills to build cross-functional relationships
* Excellent analysis skills and attention to detail
* Demonstrates clear commercial nous and understanding of business drivers
* Confident Excel skills
