Job Title: Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester

Location: Poole, Dorset

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Saturdays on a Rota basis and paid Overtime

Salary: £32,000 -£35,000 DOE + OTE

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Perform MOT tests in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
Utilise diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to identify and resolve vehicle problems.
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs.Experience essential for this role:

Previous experience as a vehicle technician, ideally within a main dealership
Hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle maintenance
Strong technical skills and knowledge of automotive systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Flexible approach to work and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance and repair are desirable
