Senior Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing Refurbishment in Northampton - CV-Library

Contract opportunity - £Day rate (Equivalent to £65,000 / £66,000 PERM)

TS Recruitment are working with a leading Contractor who specialise in Social Housing refurbishment and maintenance works across the UK. Currently hiring for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the next few months on a contract basis.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:

* You will have experience of working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the Construction industry

* Ideal if you have an understanding of the Social Housing sector

* Ideal if you possess experience of managing a small team of QS's while also managing your own projects

* You will have strong commercial acumen and excellent attention to detail

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Good understanding of IT and proficient office skills

Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor role:

* Support your team to value and authorise payments to sub-contractors within the region

* Assist in the control of contract budgets

* Assist in the preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders to demanding timescales

* Managing the monthly CVR Process for your region

* Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast for designated projects

* Liaise with Contract Managers to establish the project specification and requirements.
