Job Description

Location: Watford.

Office & Site based role.

Salary: Up to £65K.

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team, you will need to be driven, organised and an excellent communicator.

This will be an office-based position working from our office based in Watford.

We can consider candidates from all backgrounds with varying experience as full training and support will be provided.

As a Quantity Surveyor you will:

· Preparing and overseeing project budget/cost plans - ensure Gross Profit target is achieved across all projects.

· Establishing relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and the wider team

· Attending client meetings, providing feedback on project throughout.

· Review quotations and ensuring they are cost effective and competitive whilst liaising with the estimating team.

· Creating scopes to help with sub-contractor requirements.

· Pricing and agreement of non-standard rates

· Invoice processing

To be successful as a Quantity Surveyor you will need:

· Experience in a similar role

· An interest in the Retrofit industry

· Good IT skills and competent in the use of MS Excel and Word

· Understanding of construction contracts

· Good oral and written communication skills
